About Zebora

Our Mission

AI is becoming a significant new channel for brand discovery and recommendation.

Zebora exists to help brands understand how they are represented within it, why competitors are winning and what needs to change.

01What we do

What We Do

Zebora is a specialist GEO consultancy, combining deep expertise with our own proprietary platform.

We help enterprise brands measure how they are represented and recommended across leading AI platforms including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude and Perplexity. We diagnose what’s behind the gaps and turn that insight into clear strategy for PR, content, SEO, brand, web and digital teams.

02Our story

Our Story

AI is creating a new battleground for brands:

AI recommendations AI recommendations.

Zebora grew out of a simple observation: brands were starting to be discovered and recommended through AI, but had little understanding of why they appeared, why competitors were winning or what they could do to change it.

We first saw this while building theround.com, an AI-native tech talent platform. Working deeply with LLMs, APIs and automation gave us a close-up view of how models interpret information and make recommendations.

We also recognised early that GEO measurement risked following the SEO playbook too closely, with automated prompt generation creating shallow or unrepresentative datasets. So right from the start, we baked in robust, custom prompt taxonomies, giving us a stronger foundation for measurement and the ability to create bespoke measures around each business.

But measurement alone wasn’t enough. Brands needed help understanding what was driving the results and turning that insight into strategy and action.

So we built Zebora to combine rigorous measurement, deep diagnosis and specialist consultancy.

04How we think

Our philosophy

  1. 01

    Everything starts with the prompts

Your measurement is only as good as the prompts behind it. That’s why we treat prompt design as a strategic discipline, not something to automate and forget.

  2. 02

    Not all prompts are equal

Some questions, audiences, products and use cases matter more than others. GEO measurement should reflect commercial importance, not just count appearances.

  3. 03

Tools measure. They don’t do strategy.

Good strategy needs people who understand the business behind the data, including its priorities, nuances, capabilities, people and politics. Technology provides the evidence. Human judgement turns it into the right action plan.

  4. 04

    GEO is bigger than SEO

Improving how AI models understand and recommend your brand requires consistency across all the signals that influence them, from brand and PR to content, SEO, web and digital. Good GEO aligns those disciplines rather than treating AI visibility as a single-channel problem.
